Vanity Sizing ...ignoring the constructed standard

http://eekosystem.tumblr.com/

My project tackles vanity sizing in the retail industry. Retailers are able to independently decide what size waist, hips and bust measurements they want to cut their clothes to. The disparaging part of all this is the message it sends women, especially young women about themselves. To help boost young girls self esteem I have created instructions for a "You are Beautiful" kit. This box is unique to each organization and girl to be filled with what makes them feel beautiful along with a "standard" measuring tape.
