Semester Project: Cyber Identities

I think we could agree that most people don't consider the viability of most information they pull from the world wide web. Such a fantastic tool should be unblemished, right?

WRONG. There are so many pitfalls in the internet world. Almost every aspect of the internet can be altered. With this ability, people have taken on alternate identities. Much of the information I used was drawn from Beatriz Scaglia's book "Sociology of the Internet: Cyber Relationships and Online Identity". Scaglia explains an online identity, or an “internet persona” to be a social identity that an Internet user establishes in online communities and websites.  These internet personas bring to the table some very important concerns and questions. In my project, I attempt to address those concerns through sociological-based research.
